Decades of Research
Dr. Sosnowski went on to found his own independent research company, with the sole purpose of researching how bee propolis could have widespread applications in human health.
A major aspect of Sosnowski’s research centred around testing the effectiveness of his propolis extract against a number of conditions and human ailments. He helped conduct clinical trials to test the efficacy of his extracts, which in turn led to the development of new drug products sold in both Canada and Australia.
Never fully retiring, Sosnowski’s passion for medical research lasted up until his death in 2014. And he leaves a valuable legacy: Dr. Sosnowski’s propolis extracts are now used in the manufacture of a range of dietary supplements and natural health products from throat sprays to cold sore treatments and as a natural alternative to synthetic preservatives in cosmetics and other medications.
