Our Propolis: Why We Chose an Aqueous Extraction Process

To achieve and maintain the highest possible content of bioflavonoids in our propolis extracts we use refine crude propolis through an alcohol-based extraction process. In this short video we explain why we use alcohol rather than water (an aqueous extraction process) and show what happens to the majority of the alcohol once it’s done its job of extracting the phenolics.
